Local Food Spot – Cork & Craft | North County San Diego, CA


If you haven’t noticed by now, I’m a bit a of a foodie! My posts revolve mostly around food but that’s my everyday thing. I love food and it’s a huge part of who I am as a person. I love to find new recipes or local food spots to try other people’s take on food; to learn what it means to them and how they execute it.

So today, I wanted to share with you one of my fave local food spots in North County and I simply adore the atmosphere and just how chill it is.  

It’s called Cork & Craft, located in Rancho Bernardo, have you been?

If not, you must at least try it once! Here’s why aside from having a well-rounded brunch, bar, lunch and dinner menu, their food and drinks are phenomenal. 

Their food is simply delicious and let me tell you about what I’ve tasted so far at this local food spot:

Their entrée’s are made up of small portions yet they’re perfect for me as I prefer to taste a little bit of everything without feeling stuffed. Price wise, it’s not cheap and expect to at least spend a minimum of $100 for 2 people on appetizers, entrée’s + drinks, not including dessert.

Now on to their burger, which is amazing, especially with tater tots, which takes me back to being a kid and wanting second helping of tater tots…don’t judge me!. Haha! Food literally makes me giggle and dance a little because it makes me so happy! I am trying to eat healthy, keyword trying because it’s a struggle some days.

Another dish I love and cannot get enough of is their shrimp scampi, the sauce is quite tasty and unforgettable. I honestly crave it a lot for dinners but I can’t have pasta every night which is a conscious decision on my part to try to eat healthier meals.

Oh and I cannot forget their braised short rib, it literally just melts in your mouth. I mean…look at it, how can you not try it (see pic above ).

Aside from all the food talk, did I mention that they have wine and beer, oh and cider too? AND actually they make their own beer + wine. They literally have a little bit of everything for everyone’s taste palate.
