New York Fashion Week | Spring/Summer 2018 Collection

New York Fashion Week

New York Fashion Week starts tomorrow!! It’s a historical week and holiday for fashionistas all around, if you will. Hosting the best designers who set the tone for upcoming fashion trends.

This is what we wait for, twice out of the year to get to see what designers have been drumming up in their studios for months. Yet, they keep us in suspense until Fashion Week, where they unleash the most amazing shows, and I can’t be mad at that! I love the suspense, mystery and buzz that it brings.

What better way to keep yourself updated, on the new designer pieces, for Spring/Summer 2018 than seeing them live during New York Fashion Week!

Among the top talented designers that I love Marchesa, Badgley Mischka and Alexander Wang. I’m interested to see Jean-Paul Goude, Desigual’s new Creative Director, who’s been brought on to help with the brand’s image. His artistic vision and multi talents in illustration, directing ad-films, graphic designing and photography, precedes him. Along with working with renowned brands; Dior, Chanel and Louis Vuitton to name a few. He brings a unique view and it’ll be intriguing to see the changes he’ll make to the brand. Which brings up many questions about how he’ll keep the essence of Desigual.

I can’t wait to see his first capsule collection for Desigual tomorrow.

If you’re not familiar with Desigual’s current ready to wear, take a look at some of the designs below. They easily fit into anyone’s closet and can be mixed and matched for a chic look. I wouldn’t mind having any of these pieces for myself.

Don’t forget that you can watch the runway show live, so tune in to see the artistic vision of director Jean-Paul Goude, for Desigual, tomorrow, September 7, 2017 at 12pm EST live, here

Don’t miss out!
